School Management Committee (SMC)

Parents and children play a key role in an education system and parents need to be given opportunities and support to bring about a change in the education system. 

Numerous studies conducted show that the parental involvement is directly linked to the learning outcomes of students and as a whole, to the betterment of the school. Their key role is to establish and review educational goals and policies

Roles of The School Management Committee 

• Monitoring the working of the school.
• Preparing and recommend school development plan.
• Monitoring the utilization of the grants received from the Government or local authority or any source.
• Monitoring academic progress of the children.

The majority of SMC members are the parents/guardians of those children who are studying in our school.
